Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Half Arm Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual biology. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and produce finer hairs over time. Maintenance schedules vary between clients.

You may feel brief discomfort during hair removal, especially on sensitive areas, but technicians use quick, expert techniques and soothing products. Pain subsides immediately and most clients find it tolerable and faster than many alternatives.

Avoid exfoliating, tanning, or heavy lotions 24-48 hours before your appointment. Hair should be at least quarter-inch long. Clean, dry skin helps wax adhere properly. Mention medications or recent treatments to your technician.

Apply a cool compress and gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer for 24-48 hours. Avoid hot baths, sun exposure, and vigorous exfoliation immediately afterward. Use sunscreen and wait 48 hours before exfoliating to reduce irritation and ingrown hairs.

Avoid shaving between waxing sessions because it interrupts the waxing cycle. You may use gentle moisturizers but skip retinoids, strong acids, or waxing-disruptive hair removal methods. For concerns, consult your technician for personalized guidance.

Waxing is not recommended for sunburned, broken, or infected skin, recent chemical peels, or if you're using strong topical prescriptions like retinoids. Sensitive skin can be waxed with care; a patch test can determine suitability.
