Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Eyebrows & Lip Threading.

Most clients feel mild discomfort similar to plucking, but threading is quick. Our technicians use steady technique and soothing post-care to minimize irritation. For very sensitive skin we recommend discussing numbing options or a patch test beforehand.

Typical results last three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycle and individual hormones. Regular maintenance every four to six weeks keeps shape crisp, and hair often grows back finer with consistent threading.

Yes — threading pairs well with many facial services. Avoid waxing or aggressive exfoliation on treated areas immediately before or after. Tell your technician about upcoming treatments so we can schedule services for best results.

Avoid heavy makeup, sun exposure, and heat right after threading. Apply a cool compress or gentle aloe to calm redness. Refrain from exfoliation on the area for 24–48 hours and use SPF to protect sensitive skin.

Active acne, severe rosacea, open wounds, or recent chemical peels may be contraindications. Inform us about medications like Accutane or blood thinners. We’ll assess your skin and recommend safe alternatives if needed.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and upper lip. Avoid retinoids or strong exfoliants for several days. If you’re a first-time client, allow a few millimeters of hair growth so the technician can shape your brows effectively.
