Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Essential Pedicure.

The Essential Pedicure begins with a warm soak, followed by nail trimming and shaping, cuticle care, callus smoothing, gentle exfoliation, and concludes with a traditional polish application. It’s designed for routine foot hygiene and a neat, refreshed appearance.

Typical sessions last 30 to 45 minutes depending on callus level and additional requests. We recommend allowing extra time for first visits or if you choose extended exfoliation or therapeutic attention.

Clients with diabetes or circulatory concerns should consult their physician before receiving foot services. We can adapt treatments — avoiding aggressive callus removal — and require advanced notice so technicians use proper protocols and obtain medical clearance when necessary.

We remove existing polish at the start of your appointment to ensure proper nail assessment and polish adhesion. If you prefer to keep a specific shade, bring a photo or the polish bottle and we’ll match or replicate it.

For most clients, scheduling every four to six weeks maintains healthy nails and smooth skin. Frequency varies by activity level, footwear, and personal preference; our technicians can recommend a customized schedule during your visit.

Arrive with clean, polish-free nails if possible, and wear shoes that are easy to remove. Notify us of any foot conditions, medications, or allergies. Avoid shaving legs immediately before to reduce sensitivity during treatment.
