You’ll recline while warm herbal oil is poured in a steady stream across the forehead, followed by a soothing hot oil scalp massage. The ritual is deeply relaxing, quiet, and often induces meditative states and immediate tension release.
Typical sessions run 60 to 90 minutes, allowing time for intake, oil preparation, the continuous forehead oil pour, and the restorative hot oil scalp massage. Longer sessions maximize relaxation and deeper nervous system balancing effects.
Generally safe for most adults, but not recommended during pregnancy, acute fever, or recent head injuries. Inform your therapist about medications, scalp conditions, or allergies. We customize oils and technique for safety and comfort.
We use warm, Ayurvedic herbal oils such as sesame, bhringraj, and infused blends chosen for your dosha and scalp needs. Oils are warmed to a safe temperature and can be adjusted to suit sensitivities or fragrance preferences.
Avoid heavy meals and caffeine beforehand, arrive with clean, dry hair if possible, and wear comfortable clothing. Allow extra time for intake forms. Notify us of any medical concerns so we can tailor the experience safely.
Oils may leave a light residue; we offer gentle post-treatment cleansing to remove excess oil. For deeper oil application, some clients prefer to shampoo later at home. Your therapist will recommend aftercare based on hair type and treatment intensity.
