Get answers to common questions about Eyebrow Tinting.
Most clients enjoy results for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth, skin type, and aftercare. Regular exposure to oils, exfoliation, or swimming can shorten longevity; touch-ups every 4–6 weeks maintain color and shape.
No. At Refined Beauty we custom-select shades and control processing time to achieve subtle, natural results. Technicians consult on desired intensity and adjust formula for skin tone and hair color to ensure balanced, flattering brows.
Tinting is generally painless; clients may feel minimal tingling. We perform a patch test for first-time guests and use gentle dyes formulated for brows. If you have allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivity, inform us for appropriate alternatives.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows and avoid retinol or strong exfoliants for 48 hours. Skip caffeine to reduce sensitivity. If you use tretinoin or recent bleaches, inform your technician so timing and products can be adjusted.
It's possible, but timing matters. Wait at least two weeks after chemical peels, laser, or aggressive facial treatments. Hair bleaching, perms, or dyes on surrounding areas may also affect results — consult your technician for a safe schedule.
Avoid water, saunas, heavy sweating, and oil-based products for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and avoid exfoliating the brow area. Apply recommended brow serums or conditioners to prolong pigment and schedule touch-ups as needed.
